Congratulations on being a valued CL&A employee.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m an Air Force vet with a master’s in counseling, a father of 2, husband, Born-Again Christian. I wear many hats, but I try to only wear the ones I’m passionate about. Helping my brothers-in-arms in one of those.
What is your role at CL&A?
I’m a HUD-VASH case manager, i.e. I help homeless veterans transition from shelters to independent housing.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
There’s a great deal of counseling in the process…my favorite part.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
Having my efforts change someone’s life.
How did you first learn about CL&A?
I worked for the sub-contractor SUS before the HUD-VASH transition.
What do you like most about CL&A?
What we do.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I worked on nuclear weapons in the Air Force.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I design sports uniform concepts for fun.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

I make a mean grilled cheese.
